One of the city’s most beloved pet stores has expanded into the Hydraulics DIstrict. Animal Outfitters has opened a second location at 500 Seneca Street to concentrate on dog daycare, grooming, self-service dog washing, canine training and fitness, along with additional premium pet wellness activities and services. The business expansion complements their existing and highly-successful retail operations in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village.
To mark this milestone, Animal Outfitters at 500 Seneca hosted an opening celebration on Saturday, June 11, 2016. The event featured a book signing with author Maria Christina Schultz, on the occasion of the release of her latest publication, Paddle Tails: Reflections on People and Dogs Who Find Balance on the Water. Activities then switched venue to the public docks at Buffalo River Fest Park where a dog paddleboard demonstration led by Schultz occurred.
The opening was featured prominently in Buffalo Rising, Buffalo Business First, and the Buffalo News.
